It's almost Sangria time (though it doesn't feel that way in the East), and Nestle Water's getting busy promoting drink recipes that include a few that sound good, a couple employing the wonderful San Pellegrino Limonata and Aranciata, and a couple that I wonder about. But here's one created by Ted Allen worth a try.
Pomgria
(serves 2)
1 cup fruity white wine
1/2 cup pomegranate juice
1 ounce brandy
1/2 cup Perrier
1/2 cup sugar
4 tablespoons simple syrup
2 orange slices, quartered
1/2 cup frozen grapes
Mix together simple syrup, wine, pomegranate juice, brandy and Perrier. Divide the orange slices and grapes between two red wine glasses. Pour the liquid over the fruit and serve.
